RULES / ETIQUETTE of the Dojo

 

 

• Bow on entering / leaving the Dojo.

 

• Address any instructor as “SENSEI” inside and outside the Dojo.

 

• All students MUST respect lower/higher grades.

 

• Member arriving late must wait to one side for permission to join the class, ONLY THEN bow and join.

 

• NO ONE is to leave the Dojo without first asking permission from Sensei.

 

• All students MUST remain in the Dojo till their parents or an adult come and collect them.

 

• NO running around or disruptive behaviour in Dojo or Reception area and the Changing Rooms.

 

• Please leave the building clean and tidy at all times.

 

• Pensnett Karate Club will not tolerate any physical/verbal abuse or bulling by any of its members.

 

• All jewellery (rings, bracelets, chains, earrings etc.) MUST NOT be worn during training/lessons.

 

• Shoulder length hair must always be tied back, due to health and safety.

 

• It is important that all personal equipment is labelled with your name so that we can identify items.

      Please make sure that all items are taken home.

 

• Skate boots, Roller blades or Heelys shoes MUST NOT be worn or used in the Dojo.

 

• Finger/toe nails MUST be kept short and clean at all times.
